I’m really excited to have partnered up with Alena from Tatra Escapes for an adventure to the authentic and unspoiled Tatra Mountains of Slovakia!
Activities on the trip:

Our activities will take us to 3 of Slovakia’s National Parks including Pieniny National Park which provides beautiful views to its boarding country Poland. We will be staying a 2 minute walk away from a historic and medieval town centre at a lovely privately owned bed and breakfast. Poprad town is a 20 minute walk away. Both towns have bars and restaurants.
A detailed itinerary will be sent to all booked guests before the event, with all details needed.
There will also be a WhatsApp group set up prior the event so you ladies can organise car share and get chatting before the trip!

Level of Fitness Required
This trip has been graded moderate and a reasonable level of fitness is required. This trip is perfect for those who have experience with half day walks and want to try longer more challenging hikes. We will be keeping a fairly slow pace with plenty of stops.

Accommodation
Our accommodation is a privately owned bed and breakfast with a 15 minute walk to the historic and medieval town centre.
The price is based on two attendees sharing a twined room with an ensuite room. Rooms will be allocated randomly, unless specified otherwise. There is also an option to book a private room at an additional cost of £70 (total price £895 for a private en-suite room). Confirmation of prices and a payment plan is below.
All private rooms have a double bed and ensuite and the shared rooms have two double beds and a kitchenette.
Itinerary
Day 1
Morning
Arrival, welcome meeting & settle in.
Afternoon
Rafting in Pieniny National Park river and 3 wheel biking back to our starting point.
Evening
Free time.
Day 2
Day Time
Breakfast, followed by a medium 15.2 km hike to Green Lake, ascend 670 meters and 5-6 hours of hiking. Our final point will be 1,545 meters above sea level. Lunch will be at a traditional Slovakian mountain hut with a selection of dishes available (no vegan options).
Evening
Free time, optional activities include water park and spa visit.
Day 3
Day Time
Breakfast followed by an easy 8.1km hike to Cold Creek Waterfalls hike, ascend 435 meters and 3-4 hours of hiking. The final point is 1, 335 meters above sea level. Optional activities cable car, mountain carts, bobsleigh.
Evening
Free time, optional activities include water park and spa visit.
Day 4
Day Time
Breakfast followed by a wild swim in Dedinky Lake with a mini hike from Stratenska Pila to Dedinky Hike.
Afternoon/Evening
Outdoor yoga & meditation class.
Day 5
Breakfast, say our goodbyes and depart.
