












Come and join Women Outdoors on our guided Snowdon hike (or Yr Wyddfa to use its Welsh name) for a challenging but rewarding opportunity to gain some perspective on this remarkable landscape. See spectacular views with our expert Mountain Leader teaching you all about the mountain, its plants, conservation and it’s history.
A detailed itinerary will be sent to all booked guests before the event, with all details needed to attend the weekend. There will also be a WhatsApp group set up prior the event so you ladies can organise car share and get chatting before the weekend trip!

Itinerary
Day 1 Friday
From 5pm onwards: Check in to the accommodation, meet one of your Mountain Leaders, and connect with your fellow Women Outdoors guests. Can’t get there until later? No problem – the last check-in is 10pm, so you can still join us!
7.30pm: Dinner at YHA Pen-Y Pass. If you will arrive in time for dinner an evening meals can either be ordered (We will collect your order & dietary requirements prior to the weekend) or alternatively you can cook your own meal in the fully equipped self catering kitchen. A menu will be sent out prior to the event.
8.00pm: Get to know each other, relax with a book or head to the bar!
Day 2 Saturday
Snowdon Route
Difficulty Level: Challenging (for our difficulty level descriptions CLICK HERE)
Distance: 7.7 miles
Elevation: 911m (2990ft)
Time: 6-7 hours (9am – 3-4pm)
7.15am: All you can eat breakfast at YHA Pen Y Pass
8.00am: A welcome and brief from your Mountain Leaders, Joe & Megan
8.15am: Set off for the climb up Snowdon. The hike will be approximately 6 hours (including a stop for lunch).
2-3pm: Back to YHA Pen Y Pass to shower and celebrate completing the days climb! You’ll have time to relax, head to the bar, or you may even want to take a 10 minute drive to lake Padarn for a wild swim.
5.30pm – Quiz time! Winner will win a prize!
6.30pm: Dinner. Evening meals can either be ordered (We will collect your order & dietary requirements prior to the weekend) or alternatively you can cook your own meal in the fully equipped self catering kitchen. A menu will be sent out prior to the event.
Day 3 Sunday
7.30am: All you can eat breakfast at YHA Pen Y Pass
8.15am: Check out and head to Llanberis for wild swimming
10am: Time to say our goodbyes & depart!
The WhatsApp group will remain open so people can stay in touch with each other and arrange meets ups.

› 1st instalment 25% deposit (£62.25).
› 2nd instalment, the remaining balance (£186.75), due 90 days prior the event.
Your second payment will automatically be taken from your account on the date shown in your order (90 days prior the trip).
You’ll receive a reminder 30 days, 7 days and 3 days before the payment is due, so you’ll always know when your payment is coming up.
Deposits & instalments are non-refundable. Once you book, your payments are used to secure accommodation and other event costs, which we have to pay in advance and can’t recover if you cancel.
We strongly recommend taking out suitable insurance to cover you if you’re unable to attend due to injury, illness or other unforeseen circumstances.
