Before setting off, our expert guide Kinge—who has been studying and guiding musk oxen for 22 years—will teach us all about these fascinating animals, their behavior, and their environment.

Musk oxen are exceptionally rare, and sightings in the wild are incredibly special. The safari lasts 4–6 hours, depending on the animals’ locations, offering a unique opportunity to observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.

A transfer from Otta train station to our accommodation is included in the price. The train ticket is not included in the price and is approximately £85 return. Train tickets can either be organised independently, or Women Outdoors can coordinate and purchase tickets on your behalf.

Sunday Arrival & Friday Departure Flights

We’ll suggest flights that align with the two transfers, with at least one from a London airport and one from Manchester. We aim to select the most suitable and economical options.
