Come join a bunch of adventurous women for an enjoyable experience of hiking & wild swimming in the heart of the Peak District. On this outdoor adventure we will hit Kinder Scout National park with views of the stunning Kinder Reservoir and Kinder Waterfall. We will go off track to find the hidden gem and land locked lake Mermaids Pool. This lake is unusual in that it is salt water and believed to be the home of a beautiful mermaid. According to legend, the water of Mermaid’s Pool offers healing qualities to those brave enough for a dip. For those looking for eternal life, the best time to visit is at midnight at Easter when the mermaid is said to appear. If she looks at you fondly she will grant the gift of immortality.
All of our hiking leaders hold the relevant qualifications and have heaps of knowledge on the plants, landscapes and history of our national parks. Emma will create a WhatsApp group before the event providing all the information you need and you ladies can also use the group to organise car share and get to know each other.

These hikes are great for those that have some experience with walking outdoors and would like to try some hill walking.
