Come and join us hike up the highest peak in the Peak District! This circular walk takes you from the pretty village of Edale to the beautiful moors of the Kinder plateau, the highest point in the Peak District.

This route will give us the experience of walking a section of Pennie Way national trail, as it is the Pennine trail which takes from Edale up the famous ‘Jacobs Ladder’ (a bunch of stairs!). From here we will be within the beautiful Kinder Scout Nature Reserve until we reach the trig point.

Our decent will take us along the top Kinder with spectacular views of Edale valley & the western edges of the Peak District. We will continue passing Crowden Tower & Grindslow Knoll until we reach Edale again, stopping for a drink in the pub and heading home!

All of our hiking leaders hold the relevant qualifications and have heaps of knowledge on the plants, landscapes and history of our national parks. Emma will create a WhatsApp group before the event providing all the information you need and you ladies can also use the group to organise car share and get to know each other.
