A detailed itinerary will be sent to all booked guests before the event, with all details needed to attend the weekend. There will also be a WhatsApp group set up prior the event so you ladies can organise car share and get chatting before the weekend trip!
Accommodation: YHA Ingleton
YHA Ingleton is Victorian House situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, in the pretty village of Ingleton. Surrounded by magnificent countryside with caves, waterfalls, and mountains.
Our accommodation has wifi, free parking and a licensed bar! Women Outdoor ladies will have private rooms with a maximum of 6 ladies per room.

Day 1 Friday 20th September
Arrive at the hostel, rest up & get an early night!

Day 2 Saturday 21st September
6:00am: Meet point TBC. Welcome and brief from Emma
6.15am: Begin the hike
6.15pm: Arrive back at the meeting point
7-8pm: Evening meal (pre ordered form the menu YHA Evening Menu)
8.30pm: Chill, get an early night or head to the bar!
Day 2 Sunday 22nd September
8.30am: Breakfast which we can pre order or make your own in the self catering kitchen
9.30am: Depart
Payment & Booking
Option 1: Pay in full £159
Option 2: Pay instalments
– 1st instalment 25% deposit (£40).
– 2nd instalment, the remaining balance (£119), due 90 days prior the event.
Please note that deposits are non refundable.
What do I need to bring with me?
Walking boots: waterproof and breathable hiking boots with good ankle support
Socks: proper walking socks will keep your feet dry and prevent blisters
Water: Bring at least 3 litres of water
Medication: if you have hay fever, diabetes, minor aliments etc
Day Rucksack: something comfortable to wear, 20 litres+
Waterproof bags: keep spare clothing, electronics and anything else dry even when your rucksack leaks by using ziploc type food bags or outdoor activity waterproof bags.
Comfortable clothing: bring layers to let you adapt quickly to changes in the weather and body temperature. Go for a base layer (t-shirt) and a mid layer (micro fleece) and outer layer (jacket)
Trousers: no jeans as they become heavy and cold in the rain, breathable fabrics are more comfortable and dry. On a warm day shorts are ok.
Waterproof jacket: essential when hiking in all but the calmest of weather, breathable fabrics are more comfortable and dry.
Snacks: bring biscuits, energy bars, gels, bananas, chocolate or dried fruit for example. Put them in an easy reach area.
Food: bring two pack lunches
Hat or cap: stay warm in the winter and shaded in the summer
Sunscreen: can be useful even on cloudy days
